A Blizzard and a Bet: Worth $5?
Nelson James, January 29, 2008
The blizzard that happened on the 28 of this month was a great opportunity, to us. This video was created with no special effects, cgi, or professional stuntmen/actors. The crazy man with his shirt off is Adam, Nelson is filming it, and Scott is driving. The location is right out front of our office in Lehi Utah.

I hope you have health insurance for when you get pneumonia. Yikes!
I love how hairy my chest is in this video
You’re lucky you have all that hair on your chest, it kept you from freezing to death
Chest Hair/Life Insurance . . . same thing.
Ok that was funny- Have you thought of waxing your chest hair to say SEO- that would be another funny one. Now was it worth the 5 dollars?
How cold was it out there, and what was the wind chill like? Also, how much footage was taken, and when can we expect bloopers and out takes?
For all of my many fans:
1. It was not worth 5$, but I didn’t do it for the money. I have higher standards than that, come on.
2. The windchill factor made the temp. -8 F, according to the weather channel online for that day.
3. I will never shave my chest unless my wife makes me. The hair is my friend.
To quote Steve Martin in LA Story, “…that made the weekend a real weenie shrinker.”
Good run Adam.
In the words of Aaron, Dave’s nephew: “That’s not Dave, that’s a stupid guy.” Stacia, Chase, Aaron and I all enjoyed watching ‘the stupid guy’. Thanks for the entertainment.
I knew this was going to be good when our office filter blocked the video and I had to watch it from home. Funny stuff.
It wasn’t worth $5. We paid someone to do a snow angel outside our office window for $5. You should have asked for $100! GOod advertising.
Only in Utah!
I don’t know which is sadder: the fact that I wasted two-and-a-half minutes of my life watching this video or the involuntary removal of Adam’s neck, back and chest hair when they ripped the tape off.
PS: It would be interesting to see a chart, listing how much business you raked in because of Adam’s stunt versus the amount of business you’ve lost due to potential clients’ finding out you are Über-geeks.
