Create and Find Infographics with Visual.ly

Infographics have become an increasingly popular marketing tool. In response to this popularity, Visual.ly recently launched, crediting itself as “the world’s largest community for exploring, sharing, creating, and promoting data visualizations.” The site currently offers users search functionality and a share feature for finding and submitting infographics from around the web. Already the site has a collection of more than 2,000 infographics in its galleries.

A create (or labs) tool is still in beta. It will allow users to create their own infographics without the need for fancy software or graphic design experience. In the meantime, Visual.ly’s Twitter tool allows users to go head-to-head while creating a cartoon version of themselves.

Along with being a repository for data visualizations and information, Visual.ly also serves as a community for publishers and designers to connect and gain exposure for their work.
