I believe , Google's compatibility to various OS's ,internet providers , businesses and even cultures makes it very convenient , and they do this without any regard for their competitors which eliminates the possibility competition.

I started my internet life with an id in yahoo. (i still have that id). But once google is in its place, I'm not interested in any other id's than google..
the reasons i tink am in to googling are

1. Easy to use
2. Faster than other services
3. cool
4. plain but navigable interface
5. Listing the stuffs i need

Over all beautiful, with great ideas..

Pss.. Now a days i like it for one more reason... the challenges it delivers to get listed on the top, and the visitors it sends to my site
