As I look at the top 10 list, I am wondering where affiliate marketing comes into play with this. How effective is offering a commission on sales to another website for sales? Plus, there would be a link built to my site.

Do search engine rate this traffic lower?

Some of these great tips were discussed here and two of my favorites are article marketing and blogging. Blogging is a great marketing tool. Selecting the right keywords is extremely important for SEO. Some minor tips for bloggers: you have to be interesting and unique so that people will feel their time wasn’t wasted while reading your post. Eventually, you’ll gain loyal subscribers who may become potential buyers to your online business (if you have one) and before you know it, your business is up and running.

Unless email marketing becomes spammy. If you send an email more than once a week, expect more subscribers to opt out. If you provide valuable information and deals they care about, then they’ll keep you around. Many people, however, are turning to Twitter and social media to be informed about similar things. A shift might be happening, but newsletters, etc. are still effective.

i think e-mail marketing is one of the oldest and still the best Internet Marketing method because you don’t have to rely on third party like google

I think too many business today still don’t see the real sales opportunities they have by building their site SEO friendly. I still see too many new sites that are not well optimized. That’s okay for a big brand like McDonald, but when you see small business that try to have a presence on the web and their site have no contents and is made entirely based on its aesthetic, you know they will have problems. I mean, it’s not like having a beautiful site is useful if nobody can see it!
