Good article. I agree with cleaning up your own mess. 301 redirects are a great way to keep things organized and having a WordPress blog makes things even easier with all the easy to use redirection plug-ins. Plagiarism is definitely a no-no especially since Google penalizes you for duplicate content. SEO is not rocket science but it is very tedious and staying organized is one key to success. Using google webmaster tools is great because it points out all the issues you have with your site and allows you to “clean up” in an orderly fashion.

The basics are always a good place to start from with SEO optimization. I usually Start with on-page SEO factors and then moving on to off-page factors.
I don’t use any black hat SEO tactics because I am looking for long term optimization results. So far, things are working very well using ethical SEO techniques to achieve rankings in the search engines. However, it isn’t success, overnight, by no means.

I had a blog hosted in wordpress.com but i moved to my own url http://www.weddingblog.gr. So i copyied old posts an post them again. i think this is stupied SEO solution so i decided to erase a part of the old articles in my old blog and put a link in new url. Is this correct? PLease advice me.
