SEO.com Expands Team Shortly After Moving to New Office

After only a month in its new office, the SEO company adds more staff positions to accommodate a growing clientele. The company has added new search engine optimization specialists, a pay-per-click expert, and others to expand its services.

SALT LAKE CITY (Aug. 12, 2009) — The fast-paced summer of SEO.com continues. Just a month after moving to a new, larger office in Salt Lake County, the Utah SEO firm adds six people to its team. SEO.com has hired more than 20 people since April and currently employs 50.

“We are really excited to bring on another group of talented individuals at SEO.com. Our clients expect the best from us, and we know that it takes qualified search engine optimization specialists to provide the service they deserve. We look forward to working with all our new hires and are certain they will help us maintain our standard of excellence,” said David Bascom, CEO of SEO.com.

SEO.com added a PPC (pay-per-click advertising) manager, two SEO specialists, a copywriter, a marketing assistant and an executive assistant.

“We are still a relatively young company, and in these early stages of running a business it’s imperative that we work with reliable, qualified people,” said Nelson James, vice president of SEO.com. “We’re sure that our newest employees will contribute to our growth and help us deliver a top-quality service.”

With SEO.com’s recent growth, the company has become a complete Internet marketing company that offers its clients an array of SEO services that include search engine optimization, copywriting, online press releases, Web design, social media marketing and PPC. The new PPC manager gives the company even more expertise in an area that compliments organic search engine optimization.

“Our new PPC manager brings four years of experience managing large and small campaigns alike. He’s been responsible for millions of advertising dollars annually and generating ROI for dozens of clients. Though August is only the peak of what is quickly becoming a record quarter for SEO.com, Bascom has grand ambitions for the future of the company.

New August Employees:

Todd Julien, PPC manager
Julien recently left Hewlett-Packard, where he managed PPC for the Logoworks online division. Prior to Hewlett-Packard, he was the PPC manager for Datamark. Julien has worked with several PPC management platforms including Omniture Search Center/Site Catalyst, Double Click DART, and Google Analytics. Julien has managed more than 700,000 keywords for both lead generation and e-Commerce initiatives. He has a bachelor’s in communications from Southern Utah University.

Robyn Storms, SEO specialist
Storms earned a degree in Public Relations from the University of Utah in 2004, and has since worked in various areas of marketing, media buying and public relations. Prior to working at SEO.com, Robyn worked at Axis41 in the Web marketing department handling all aspects of SEO and Internet marketing. She and her husband, Matt just celebrated their first wedding anniversary and live in Sandy with their dog, Kingston.

Tyson Hymas, SEO specialist
Hymas is currently enrolled in the visual arts program at Salt Lake Community College, and is focusing on photography. He utilizes his creativity and photography skills in many aspects of marketing.

Tiana Smith, copywriter
Most recently, Smith worked as a direct response copywriter for Clearlink Technologies, where she managed a team of copywriters, and as an SEO copywriter working at Overstock.com. She has a double degree in English and honors from Westminster College, with a focus in creative writing.

June Hughes, executive assistant
Hughes recently left LANDesk Software, where she supported the vice president of product management. Prior to that, she supported the CEO of Alsco. She has a bachelor’s degree in business economics.

Sandy McDougle, marketing assistant
McDougle has more than 20 years of experience in commercial graphic design and has worked for several large corporations including Xerox, Kodak, Hughes, and Boeing. Since 1992, she has worked as a free-lance designer for Novell, Evans & Sutherland and StoryRock. Sandy currently resides in Murray with her husband, Greg, and daughter, Abigail.
