I have one question though , if we have one plugin already installed of same type and installing another plugin of same type , does this cause conflicts?? such as for seo and sitemap generator plugins.

For my SEO Blog, I have totally uninstalled All In One SEO plugin and started using a SEO Theme instead called Thesis. It seems to handle most of my SEO needs better. This is a paid premium theme though.

Platinum SEO Pack has more useful options than the all in one seo pack. There are more nofollow selections, additional post, page and home headers, you can nofollow all of the outgoing links on just the front page, you can add the noydir meta tag, the noodp meta tag, you can use the option for noindex on sub pages and my favorite option of all is all of the options that it gives you on each individual post and page of your wordpress blog.

Those are just a few of the things that I can think of off the top of my head. The fact of the matter is that I have used both and have found that I am in greater control of my websites on-page seo than when I was using the All in One SEO Pack.

I hope this helped you make the most educated decision.

Just wondered what the advantages of the Platinum SEO Pack were in your eyes over the All in One SEO pack?

I have gladly taken your advice and uploaded the Dragon Design Sitemap Generator for my wordpress blogs. This is a fantastic plugin! I have a slight problem though, I also use an xml sitemap generator plugin as well which the dragon design plugin allows a link to be published to the xml file, the problem is the url's are conflicting with each other: one is /sitemap.xml and the other is /sitemap/ when it is set like this the /sitemap/ one is not viewable so I had to make it /site-map/ to be able to see it. I've noticed on seo.com/sitemap/ is perfect and also seo.com/sitemap.xml is also perfect... How did you do this? Is the problem the plugin that I am using? Your xml sitemap appears to be manually created? Is this the case or do you have a plugin for that as well? I don't want to have to manually edit it on every blog and every post. Also, the xml sitemap generator I am using inserts the plugin author's links and some formatting that I really don't want(I have edited the plugin files and slapped with the "no-follow" attribute). Does this formatting hurt seo or "confuse" the search engines? Any help would be greatly appreciated! And by the way you guys are the bible of seo to me!
